Thank you for your reply. I appreciate your comment, and I fully agree. I too have some degree of skepticism about the diet, but I feel like it is definitely worth a shot.

I will try to elaborate in my next few posts about why I think it is at least possible that this could be some type of allergy/diet related issue.

Also, I just want to point out, that you are absolutely right about cholinergic urticaria coming & going in "cycles." However, I theorize that if something in my diet is now causing other symptoms (skin rashes) when I consume too much milk/wheat, then why couldn't it also be causing the hives. Since the diet has started, the small rash on my finger is now 100% gone--and--I am somewhat less reactive. So I will continue on the diet & we will know for sure here in a couple of months if anything has helped or if the hives have completely stopped.

I will be the first to admit that the diet doesn't work as soon as I know for sure. But I am just hoping that it does work, because as I am sure you know, hives really suck lol.

Thanks again for your reply!

This all sounds great, and I hate to take it as personal pessimism, but I'm not too sure if it is the diet, or this 'natural' cycle of CU.

Last fall/winter mine was at probably at its worst, and most reactive it has problem ever been. Spicy foods, even just urinating caused the prickly sensation in select areas.

As spring and summer began occur, it stopped being less reactive, but more "intense". Visually, it was 'out' more than usual, and it seems to last and linger about more than it may have usually. However, I wasn't bothered by every little thing like I was during the winter months.

Now it seems to be entering yet another cycle. My arms, and just small patches elsewhere seem to be reacting, and very little hives, more so what I consider the worse part of it all, the prickly feeling and that general uncomfort that's felt when they are about to pounce. Other than that, it amazes me because my back actually starts to sweat, and fully. Just my arms really continue to just prickle, but the hives don't really come out. It's still really bad and uncomfortable, but at least I can say that I'm sweating. Which is really opposite how things were. That being said, general heat seems to be effecting me more. My energy seems to just zap away, but it' s being far less reactive in general. It takes me being out 'unprotected' or in a really hot nerve-racking environment (like in the car with my mom, since she doesn't use the AC + Muggy Georgia heat) for the on set. I haven't been getting it at all from foods, or just getting excited/nervous while in my room or what not.

I haven't really changed anything if how I operate, so, I don't know, I'm just conflicted about the whole thing.

However, I wish you the best, and keep at it! :D
