Hi, all! Greetings!
After taking a bath on a November 2015 day, I noticed intense itch over my arms and back. It gone 10 days without seeking treatment as I thought It would heal on its own. But it continued and before seeking treatment I had to get shortness of breath on a rainy day bus travel, bus full of people and all ventilation closed for rain.
I feared of shortness of breath, so I got out and got a full blown panic attack. On other days also panic attacks continued in various forms like feeling to faint, shortness of breath and heart bounce. I got confused so much. Feared of death even. I saw many physicians then and no negative words from them.
One Gp told me that I suffering from anxiety only. Then I visited psychiatrist and I m now on anti anxiety drugs and “LEVO CETRIZINE”. Panic attacks subsided but itching after bath continues. So I’m visiting skin specialist, he prescribes ATARAX.
While nothing seems to work, I’m taking ATARAX for any mystery results.
And all please note: I can’t give up my anxiety. Sadly it’s leading to schizophrenia Ocd.
My itching symptoms gets worse
Please help,
Vasanth

Thanks for it concern guy. U think if my case to be mild? And please tell any ocd reduction tech. It sucks, not allowing anxiety to subside. Realizing that anxiety increases the itching intensity. I wonder to think panic attacks/anxiety/ocd and itching have been ruining my life.

Hi, please see my October 24th post on this forum. I was cured of CU by adopting a whole-food, plant-based (“vegan”) diet. Modern science is beginning to understand the mechanism as to why this works. CU is an autoimmune disorder. Eating a diet high in fiber serves to regulate the immune system, preventing it from overreacting. This solution is easy, it is inexpensive, and it works. Give it a try.
