I was recently doing some research on diets and blood type. According to a research paper I read, Type-O (my blood type) people tend to have more acidic stomachs. I’m wondering if there is any correlation. Could be a stretch but would like to do a simple poll to what types are affected by cholinergic urticaria.
Please post your letter below if you do choose.
Thanks,

Interesting thought. In type “O” and I have had digestive issues for years. I’m currently on meds for stomach acidity.

I am A+ too. Haven’t had problems digesting food. But CU for almost a year. Under control doing exercises so far, and taking hot shower.

-Thanks for the reply everyone-
Still on my path to find out where it comes from and how to get rid of it. I had my CU under control with Zantac for while. It was to the point where I only needed 1-none per day instead of 4. Then, my doctor put me on an NSAID called Vimovo and my CU came back and was challenging to control at first. I stopped taking the Vimovo and now I can control it again. Anyone have a similar experience?

Did you get tested for H pylori?

It’s funny you should ask that Jimmy as I recently had a h. Pylori infection. I did triple therapy and got rid of it. However, still have CU. I did find out that NSAIDS make it worse. I took an aspirin two days and it came back in full effect both days. I stopped taking aspirin and have it back under control.
