I’ve had this problem with me for the past 2 years now and as a 24-year-old in college that is about to graduate into the science field, I cant afford to have hives or needle pricking wheals popping up at work. The current self treatment I have been doing is to exercise while wearing a thick and tight track suit to start sweating early so I can be desensitized to the sweat that is happening to my body. This can only happen daily and will have to be repeated the next day.
My life is pretty miserable right now but I have a possible solution backed up by researchers who wrote an article with their findings in 2008. It might help people and will stop the problem permanently but each person is different as I suspect.
This research article is called “Successful treatment of cholinergic urticaria with anti-immunoglobulin E therapy.”
It details how a drug binds up the free IgE floating in the body and will reduce the amount of allergic attacks from mast cells and may even stop it completely.
I will be seeing a doctor to get this medication prescribed and hope it will work. If it does, I recommend people try it if other options do not work for them. It’s worth a shot.
Thanks,
-Andrew

My doc gave me Valium and it worked. Stress related I believe. Beer also worked.
