Hi. I think this condition is exactly what I have. I get extremely itchy when I am hot, out in the sun, or even nervous.
This is torture and by far the worst thing that has ever happened to me. I am from Nigeria, and I got this condition in 2015 at age 15 when I went to Canada on vacation during the summer. When I returned to my country, it stopped as soon as I got off the plane.
In 2016 the same thing happened, and now in 2017 I relocated to the United States three months ago and I am currently dealing with the same thing again. It is so embarrassing.
One day I got the attack while taking a walk, and I started scratching so bad. People around me laughed at me. Could it be that my body is adjusting to the new environment?
An answer will be appreciated. Thank you for creating this wonderful forum!

Hi Adewale,
I had the same symptoms and it ended up being cholinergic urticaria but it’s best to check with your doctor or specialist first! Don’t give up mate keep fighting you’ll get through it 🙂

Hi. Have you been able to control yours?I just heard of the sweat therapy thing and I am willing to try it out . You can go to a gym with a sauna or buy a portable sauna to force sweat out of your body . When you sweat in the morning , you will be good for the rest of the day. Let me know how it goes

This is absolutely the solution!!!!!! STEAM ROOM = I’m healed in two days. (Talk to your doctor before attempting sweat/steam therapy).

Hi! Will this solution cure me forever? Or just for one day?

Hi Adewale,
It is same thing with me. I am from Nigeria but moved to the Texas, USA on jan 2016. Then in February 2016 or so, I started having this itchiness whenever I am walking outside. My friend from Nigeria also complains of the same symptom. During the summer of 2016, it stopped.
So I am trying to analyze the variables. During that summer, I usually sweat daily because I ride my bicycle daily despite the hot Texas summer weather and I did play football too. I quit riding my bicycle in July 2017 because it doesn’t give me the flexibility I desire and after a while the hives returned.
So I think the solution is to be doing daily anything that make one break a sweat. I have started going to the gym though my schedule doesn’t give me the liberty to do this as much as I want. I noticed that in the first few minutes of running on the treadmill in the gym, my skin will be itchy but if I continue, I would overcome the itchiness. I am also thinking that there is a correlation between taking milk and this hives – not sure about this but I have quit taking milk for about a month now. I will let you guys know when I figure out this all out.
Thanks for sharing your experience

Hey Mike,
Did you find the relation between milk and hives? I am actually from India and right now from past 2 years I am in Texas. From the starting of this year, I am having this, but I am not sure whether it is CU or something else. I am taking care of my diet since past month. also trying to avoid milk if possible but then also it is still happening. So I am giving it some more time. So, in Nigeria, do you get milk which lasts 2 weeks or 2 days. Because I think preservative might be the cause of this.

Guys, I think I figured something out. I donated plasma a few times last year before the summer and I don’t remember suffering from this during last year summer. Someone posted in this forum that donating plasma cured the hives. So after considerations, I donated plasma yesterday (for the first time this year) and I have not felt the hives till now. I think the hives has something to do with over concentration of some kind of mineral in the body which can be reduced by donating plasma, not sure though. I used hot shower this morning. I walked under the hot sun this afternoon. And I did not feel the hives. I hope it is gone for good. I will keep you guys updated.
