Welp I’m finally biting the bullet and going to the doctor tomorrow. A little nervous cause I’m in the military, and I’m worried about being discharged for this. I’m not going to lead them to this diagnosis, but will completely disclose all my symptoms and either see if I could have something else (very, very, doubtful) or if this is what they come to.
I’m sure I have cholinergic urticaria, been struggling with it for 2 years now. And it’s gotten bad enough now I can’t hide it anymore. Heck, yesterday spilled water at work and broke out. Then i started to break out again 10 minutes later when i sneezed. Gotta love it.
So wish me luck! I’ll post how my experiences go, especially for anyone else who may be in the military with this condition!

It will be interesting to see if they diagnose or pick up on the fact that it’s cholinergic urticaria. Either way, I certainly hope something beneficial comes from the visit. I hope you get some relief soon. I know how rough it can be.
Let us know how things go!

Welp I went! And they were going to send me to an allergist, but then decided to run a full autoimmune blood panel first. Won’t get the results back for a week or two though, and got prescribed zyrtec and zantac in the meantime. So now we wait!

Can’t wait to hear the results.

I saw a doctor twice before knowing that I have CU. He told me that I have a Physical Urticaria and he gave me a prescription for the Zyrtec. It just made the rash go away but the itches did not stop. I saw him again and he said that I have to see an allergist.. And I will see one soon.
