Hello,
I had the shingles vaccine, and 7 – 8 months later, I developed hives. I keep getting a flare, and the only thing that I can think, which is different in my diet or activities, is the shingles vaccine is the cause.
Anyone notice this?
Thanks,

Hi. It is funny cause I had the same experience with the season flu vaccine, not once but twice. My doctor says that the vaccine has nothing to do with it, but I think there is a strong correlation between vaccines and allergic flare up like this condition.

Hi, I also had numerous vaccines for my job at the time (most were in one hit) and then my hives started not shortly after. I do believe these vaccines played a part which makes me incredibly upset. They must mess with the immune system somehow, however, most doctors say there is no way this could happen but I beg to differ!!

I have had vaccines or long then if the vaccine somehow alter the immune system, the theory that the acetylcholine is the culprit would be ruled

I definitely attribute my heat induced urticarial on the shingles vaccine. In early November of 1993 I vacationed in Texas, on the gulf by the Rio Grand, in warm humid weather, being out of doors constantly with NO issues.
Late November of that year I had the vaccination.
In January of 2014, two months later, I was unable to go out of doors in Phoenix when on vacation. I suffered all of 2014 and into 2015 with the “stinging nettles” whenever in warm conditions. I was indoors most all of 2014.
During 2015 it slowly subsided and now in July of 2016 I feel that I am finally no longer at risk.
