I May Be Getting a House Soon (Finally) Cholinergic Urticaria.net

Recently my wife and I have been so busy running back and forth, looking at houses, filling out applications, talking to realtors, and so much more. After searching and searching, I think we have finally found a house.

This is great because my wife and I have been wanting a house for such a long time now. We are so miserable in our current apartment.

We made an offer on a nice foreclosed house, and luckily, they accepted our offer. My wife and I are both so very excited. We cannot wait to get out of this apartment, and move into our new house.

Hopefully, we will be closing on it by the first week in October. At that point we will move in, clean everything, unpack, decorate, and so forth. We still have a quite of ways to go, and we do not actually get the house until we close and sign the final forms. So right now we are both so anxious while we wait.

As you may imagine, we will be incredibly busy packing, moving, cleaning, and so forth. I will try to post as much as I can, and I can’t wait to publish some experiments within the next few weeks/months once I get moved in.

As far as the hives, I am super excited because not only will I be moving to a new city (within the same county), but I will get a new water source. I will also be able to get a water softener, water filter, and continue with hives research and experimenting.

How Has My Cholinergic Been Doing Lately?

My Cholinergic Urticaria has been about the same lately. When I am at home they don’t bother me too much, but when I get out in the hot muggy weather (as I have been looking at houses and so forth), I have had a few attacks of cholinergic urticaria.

I still think the water is having a huge impact on the hives, and luckily, I will be able to find out soon.

I can’t wait for cooler weather, and also to get the new house so I can see if it helps. This is a very exciting (and exhaustive) time period for both me and my wife.

Girl Has Severe Allergy To Water (Aquatic Urticaria Hives) | Cholinergic Urticaria.net

Cholinergic urticaria is a pretty hard condition to deal with. We all get so frustrated with the itching, prickling, stinging sensation when we get hot, nervous, excited, etc.

But I always like to stop and think about all of the other people out there that also suffer from different conditions. One article I recently stumbled upon was a girl that has a severe case of Aquatic Urticaria (water hives).

This condition is very similar to cholinergic urticaria. She is fine any other time during the day. However, if her skin comes into contact with water, she will have an allergic reaction to it, and develop flushing, hives, and extreme itching. Here is an example of what happens to her after getting in contact with water:

aquatic urticaria reaction

She can’t take a normal shower. If she does, she has a reaction. She said she had learned to take super fast showers. Also, if she gets wet during rain, sweating, or anything else, she can have a reaction.

That is just like us, right? We are fine most of the time. But apply our physical stimulus that causes a reaction (heat), and our bodies go crazy with itching, flushing, hives, etc.

Man these hives conditions are just absolutely CRAZY aren’t they! How weird! Doesn’t it seem like all of these hives conditions are all relatively new conditions? Maybe something in the environment or foods these days?? Who knows! I hope her hives get better, and ours too! Cholinergic Urticaria is the pits!
