Has anyone gone to every length of attempting to unclog pores, as I have been researching for a few years now and gone through many theories, but a clogged pores theory seems most likely (i.e. either clogged by dry skin, bacteria, yeast, minerals/impurities from hard water),
I wanted to ask if any people have tried these and if they worked at all:
- BHA’s (Beta Hydroxy Acid) exfoliants like salicylic acid
- Deep cleansing pore strips
- Cider Vinegar cleansing
- Using a filter for all water (drinking and shower)
- A scrub i.e. a baking soda scrub
- Lastly, the one I’m really interested in is professional pore extraction, if anyone has done this on a hives affected area this will either cure Cholinergic Urticaria or help us abandon the clogged pores theory.
Good luck with treating your condition everyone! 🙂

I’ve tried neutrogena body wash which contains salicylic acid without success. It actually made my skin dry and caused it to itch.

I believe CU is an Internal issue. There is a theory of Dry Brushing to get lymph circulating but I’m not sure. In my opinion, this is irrelevant since people should be using washcloths to properly bathe once a day anyway. Another option is to use soft bristle brushes with shower gel or soap. I’ve been assessing this myself and am up in the air over it. Thanks.

For my husband’s case….Hard water is main cause for it.. High PH level water..
First I have to boil water then cool it down and filter through with paper coffee filter which collects calcium residue ( visible … white colour residue ) then filter through BRITA… Water for washing face & head….. His face has allergic reaction on hard water.. He strictly drinks bottle water…
