Can cholinergic urticaria happen during seasonal changes?
From last 10-12 years, I’ve had this problem during seasonal change ( mainly beginning of summer) . Some bumpy, reddish rash develops on my arm and leg. It spreads and affects my arm and leg joints, and it is painful and swelling.
After staying 1 /2 months it disappears automatically. I just observed that if I take amla on daily basis, it gives some relief.
I am staying in India .

Hey, Arijit.
Yes, cholinergic urticaria does become worse for some people during the changing of the seasons. For most, going from hot (summer) to cold (winter) causes their symptoms to become worse. For others, cholinergic urticaria may persist year-round.
Regarding your symptoms, it did not sound like cholinergic urticaria symptoms to me. Cholinergic urticaria does not typically present with a persistent rash/swelling like you described. People with cholinergic urticaria are usually only symptomatic during an attack, and afterwards, they look and feel normal.
You may have some sort of eczema or dermatitis. Miliaria is also a possibility if the rash has a prickly sensation. You may want to consult a dermatologist to get an accurate diagnosis.
