I’ve had CU symptoms for months now- red bumps (hives) from working out, and itching all over from sweating, showering, and going outside in the heat. I saw a doctor, who recommended an antihistamine, and after trying several, it has not done anything.
With the itching becoming unbearable and getting in the way of my life, I want to make dietary changes. I have read on this website of the effectiveness of the gluten-free diet.
I was wondering if anyone can attest to that, or explain why gluten-free helps CU (it is hard to find evidence on google).
Also, are there any other diet recommendations that have been proven to be successful for CU?
Thank you!
Alex

Change out your deodorant. Get one that is aluminum free, chemical free. There are a bunch to pick from on amazon.
I dealt with the horrible hives too. I couldn’t sweat, and if i did it was such a small amount and typically i would end up breaking out in hives and this went on for four years!
I changed my normal deodorant for an aluminum free one and ive been good ever since!!!
