Just a brief background, from fall to winter 2015-16 I first got hives. It was very painful and made noticeable little red dots appear on my hands and arms whenever I got hot or nervous, and it was awful as I’m sure you all understand.
That summer it went away totally, which I attributed to being able to sweat and acclimate to a warmer temperature. That next fall and winter it came back but was much more mild which I attributed to keeping a heater blasting in my room so that I was always hot.
That summer it went away again, and it had not come back until now. I feel the familiar tingling in my hands whenever I get nervous or exercise, but nothing unbearable. But I’m terrified it will get worse. What’s weirder is that it’s the middle of the summer, so I thought they wouldn’t come at a time like this.
If anyone has had a similar experience, can you please tell me what happened to you. If my hives come back as severely as they were, my life is basically over because it is so debilitating.

Hi Don,
My CU went into remission for 10 or 12 years. It came back 2 years ago. I’m able to sweat because it’s been hot and humid. The difference now compared to 12 years ago is even though I’m able to sweat I still experience the tingling itch but no hives. Whereas back then, summer months I had complete relief as long as I was sweating daily.
