Hello. Is isolated dizziness part of cholinergic urticaria symptoms? My regular rashes are really small and localized (the pinpoint kind).
Lately, I been feeling dizzy without showing other symptoms (including rashes or nausea). I do live in a hot country, and it could be a heat related problem (it’s summer here) or to another unknown health problem.
Nevertheless, do you guys ever felt this kind of isolated dizziness out of nowhere?
Thank you,
Dux

I have! But I got shingles all over the left side of my head a couple years BEFORE I got the urticaria. I actually joined a couple of forums related to the dizzyness problems before I ever got hives.

Thanks for the reply, Linda. Do they appear randomly or did you found a trigger? Cheers
Linda Starr says
I haven’t found a trigger.

Linda, I don’t want make you feel uncomfortable, and it’s totally fine if you don’t want to answer, but have you been diagnostic with something else than CU?
So far, I only got CU and IBD (Irritable Bowel Disease), but I’m worried that it may indicate some early symptom of something more severe, like RA or Fibromyalgia (which may cause rashes as well).
Cheers

I’m 72…that’s often a trigger for death.
Other than that, I don’t take any meds except thyroid (hypo) and Breo Ellipta (prevents asthma). But I recently started up the monthly XOLAIR injections again after the hives came back. (And now I just had to pick up the cumbersome epi pen package I have to carry around all the time now!!
I only joined this group because I thought I only got my hives in the HOT Phoenix summer and I thought that’s what Cholinergic Urticaria meant (I was wrong). But I quit the shots in October and then got the worse case of hives on Christmas Day.
I don’t really know if I have CHOLINERGIC urticaria! But I definitely have Chronic Ideopathic Urticaria.

I’m deeply sorry to learn that. I hope things improve to you, and wish we could help each other more. Thanks for all your inputs.
