Does Hivesguy Still Have Hives?

March 18, 2014 by Hivesguy

Just wondering if Hivesguy still has cholinergic urticaria. I remembered seeing he cured them with diet, and I was wondering if they are still gone?

    Hello, Aaron.

Yes, my cholinergic urticaria remains “cured” so long as I stick to my diet and the other things I’ve mentioned on this site. If I eat foods that cause an allergic response or additional inflammation, it can easily come back. I have managed to keep my hives “cured” like this long-term now, and my cholinergic urticaria no longer hinders my daily life. I can exercise, do physical activity, etc. without enduring an attack. I can also sweat again.

I’m also publishing a book on cholinergic urticaria, which I hope to release on Amazon.com and other websites this week. I’ll have a link on the website in case anyone is interested in taking a look at it.

The book is meant to be a general guide to cholinergic urticaria, and it will include a lot of my own experiences in it. I hope it will be helpful for some people out there suffering. It includes much of what I’ve said on this website, but it does have a little more information, and I’ve arranged it in a way that hopefully makes more sense and is much easier to read than clicking links on the site.

I know a lot of people are probably confused because this website contains content from up to about 5-6 years ago, and it may be hard for some people to follow and understand what I’m currently doing and so forth.

Anyway, I hope your hives aren’t bothering you too much, and I hope you get them under control soon.

    Ben (Hivesguy)

Awesome to hear! My hives are controlled once I take Zyrtec. but i can feel it starting to have less of an effect. I’ve started working out lately, and ive cut out all bad sugars and fats, and only eat greens, chicken, occasional red meat, pasta, salads and nuts. Only drink water and getting 8 hours sleep a night. Only been like that a week but feeling much better. Not really noticed an improvement in hives but I’m working on getting fitter, building muscle and getting rid of all visceral fat.
