Is it posslbe to have an indirect allergy to a cat? Could cholinergic urticaria be due to indirect cat allergy? I ‘m not allergic to my cat directly, but a friend told me that dandruff that I inevitably inhale from my cat is activated by heat alone.
My cat is indoors, so should seek a new home for my cat? Before my current cat, I had no cholinergic urticaria, even when I went for my cat day was sunny and there was no attack!
Thanks,

Hi,
I have a cat at my Dad’s home, and when I am there my attacks are more common and severe, so I think it my be a cause, but my doctor, allergenist, and dermatologist say it isn’t a cause (I don’t think they’re right).
Hope I can help :/

It’s possible, but definitely not a cause for me. Mine can be worse on holiday when I don’t even see a cat or dog for 2 weeks
