Isotretinoin as a Treatment for Cholinergic Urticaria?

My dermatologist has recommended this as a potential help, because it reduces the oil glands in your skin.
It is usually used for severe forms of acne. Has any one tried it? I’ve read a lot about it and it’s a very powerful drug.

Hey Joeshep,
No, I have never used it. Anyone else on the forum used it?
It seems like a very powerful drug indeed. They even use it for cancers. If you use this, please update us on whether or not it had any effect on the Cholinergic Urticaria.

Not me, I have really dry skin and have dandruff, not sure about other people but I would presume others would also have dry skin? I don’t know, everyone’s different 😉
