Hello,
Thanks hivesguy for the website and book. I feel like I’ve learned a lot about a frustrating condition. I’m 50 and have had hives for probably 15 years. I’m trying to find answers. My hives usually start as soon as the weather starts to turn colder. Don’t have much trouble in the summer but winter is another story.
I suffer from low body temperature as well. On thyroid meds but that doesn’t seem to get my temperature consistent. I also have high unbound copper which I’m working with someone specialized in mineral balancing and I think that is slowly helping. I am thinking of purchasing a portable sauna.
I don’t sweat at all, even when exercising. Any brands of sauna’s that you’d recommend or any other useful ideas? I would be grateful for any additional help to get rid of this for good.

Hello DH,
Thanks for your comments and question. I don’t recommend a particular brand of sauna, but I know that a lot of people use the ones from Amazon that cost around $100 or so. They seem to do the job for most people. There was one recommendation on this forum a while back. You can read about that here. Also, if you use the search function on this site, you can read the experiences of others.
I can’t think of any other tips than what you’ve probably already read in the book. Just be safe, check with a doctor befor exercising, and keep an Epi-Pen close by. Some people with CU have it year round, and others seem to struggle mostly during the winter.
I hope you get it under control soon, and thanks again for your post.
