I am a dental surgeon. I suffered from cholinergic urticaria for about 10 years. After so many experiments, I can finally understand (as my experiment and thinking), the actual cause of such itching. Please believe me and do what I am saying.
Just avoid using any type of SOAP or any foaming agent or any cosmetic or any body lotion or any oil..use nothing on your skin..even avoid shampoo…
Use small lemon juice on your scalp to avoid dandruff. Just do it continuously for 1 to 2 years. I think you will get a result…take plenty of water and get sunlight at least two days in a week. Sweating and sebum secretion is sufficient to lubricate our skin. Do not use any moisturizer even from top brand or even herbal product…..
Sodium lauryl sulphate(SLS) from SOAP is the main culprit, in my opinion.

my intension is not to speak speak against any dermatological treatment..I love dermatologists .I think its not a allergy its due to affected sweat gland by repeated aromatic chemical use.SLS makes dry skin and supresses sweating and this symtoms speaciall affacts the person with hypohydration or anhydration.in summer due to high temperature soap chemicals comes out from our skin and in winter it can not comes out.normal people(even when i was suffer) do every but never avoid soap thats why this itchy disease last for life time.i never subscribed any web site before this one .I posted this because I know what a severe hell like feeling people suffer from such disease.I my self a B.D.S.(dentist of India) doctor (A. Rai.).Best of luck all cholinergic urticaria sufferer you will cure very soon…….

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences, A. Rai. I did have a question: Are you suggesting that it will take 1-2 years for this to work on a person? Has it been working for you? If so, how do you get germs off of their skin and private parts? It seems like water only won’t do the trick.
When I had cholinergic urticaria, I did various experiments with distilled water, scrubbing the skin, etc. Nothing ever eliminated it. What works best for me is to stay on a strict diet. I also use a shower filter and Eucerin to keep my skin moisturized, as that helps prevent drying in the winter.

I Suggest you to use low detergent soap to the most dirty area when required ie use soap as less as possible. In my 9 yrs experiment the best result i got after stoppage of soap. Now I take plenty of water and get sunlight atleast 2 days in aweak.soap chemicals leach out moisture from our skin as well as it has sweating supressing property.the chemicals of soap has may dangerious side effect when it goes to blood. You can check it from internet also.if u stop using,I think u will get result within 1 month.but to restore your all affected sweat glands due to long term soap using ,u have to stop it for long time..the persons who sweat less(hypohydration) and on the other hand use repeatedly soap they make themself more less sweating and this two factors hampered our skin cooling mechanism almost totally which trigger itching in thousands of our sweat glands and we fell such internal burning sensation. At last I would like to say its my personal view…for you may be due to other cause..(for bad english plz dont mind)

From my experience there are some soaps that trigger CU and make the hives more sever. Of course there is no soap that will prohibit CU from being triggered but I did find some soaps that made the attacks less intense.. This is the soap that I currently use you can find it at meijer if you are in the US (it is a moisturizer)

NOTE this is not a cure or even a treatment but to me it just makes the itches less intense when they come.
