Hi, all.
Right now I don’t know what to do about my cholinergic urticaria. Since it’s summer, I’ve been feeling awful every single day because of the very hot weather. I’ve checked in with a doctor, and I’ve been taking antihistamines. And while they do help with the itching, they don’t help with preventing the breakouts in the first place, and I still feel very uncomfortable when I breakout.
Sweat therapy doesn’t seem to be an option for me right now because whenever I exercise I feel out of breath, and I swell up. Dieting might be a good idea for me, but I don’t know where to start.

Hey Rohan. I would recommend trying an allergy elimination diet. I have given an example of what works for me in a recent post and video. Always check with your doctor to make sure it’s safe for you.

Thank you for the help, do you have any suggestions about any foods that I should stay away from?

I’ve wanted to do sweat therapy but I’m afraid that I’ll have a very serious breakout which is why I’m very hesitant on that right now

I had the same issue as you for four years. I could not sweat, and when my body temp would rise up i would get dizzy and typically break out.
I was told to try a chemical free deodorant. An all natural one. I found one on amazon and after a week of use, im not kidding you i was sweating on my own. I now can do everything i couldnt do before and have not had a single outbreak. Seriously give it a try. Aluminum free!!!

What if I don’t usually use deodorants in the first place? I haven’t used a deodorant in years because I rarely sweat anymore (due to CU)

I would say an elimination diet is the way to go then.
