I know that I’ve had CU for a long time. If I go outside with no gloves on in the freezing temps then walk right into a warm place, my hands will double in size and turn fire red. I also have always had major issues with excessive exercise, to the point where it will start out itchy, red and painful and end with my throat nearly closing.
I can still walk, and enjoy other types of exercise, just nothing that will raise my heart rate quickly and cause me to excessively sweat. But lately for whatever reason our summer was late and September felt like August and it’s so humid. I find myself itching constantly.
I sweat between my hair and scalp and I have to wash it off twice a day or the sweat clings to my hair. Same thing with my clothes, I have to change twice a day. I have to change my bed sheets constantly, because I sweat in my sleep. But I still itch.
My AC is down to 69 but I still sweat and the smallest amount sends me in a tail spin. I can’t take anti histamines because of other medications I am on. Does anyone have any other advice?

Have you looked at your diet?
I find my symptoms seem to be triggered by foods I am eating.
It’s probably going to be a long drawn out process to find out what I can tolerate but it will be worth it.
My theory is something we are eating/ingesting and it comes out in the pores when we sweat and irritates us. OR it’s something in the water that is leaving residue on our skin reacts to when it sweats.
Applying cold aloe vera (I keep a bottle in the fridge) helps a bit for me. The organic kind is the best.
Does sun help? My dermatologist recommend UVB treatments. Will be interesting to report back if it helps at all.
