Hello,
I have posted on here before regarding my symptoms. Everything literally started over night after I had carpal tunnel surgery. I won’t recap all of that but my symptoms are anytime I get warm I get a reaction that feels like a thousand bee stings.
It never itches and only shows in dots on my skin if I don’t get cool. But my other issue is my feet. Even if I’m am cool and not experiencing any symptoms but I’m standing or walking for 30 minutes or sometimes doing nothing at all, my feet get really red like they are sunburnt, but it feels like a steam burn and will continue to increase with that pain.
Usually it goes away once I cool them down but lately they flare up really quick. I haven’t been diagnosed with cholinergic urticaria. I have seen s dermatologist, endocrinologist, neurologist and have had blood work done, MRI, urine test, you name it. And there is no found cause.
Several doctors think it was nerve damage from the surgery and just tell me they can’t help me and this is my new normal. Anyone have the burning feet? It is not minor either. Often I ice them, almost always wear sandals now. Any reply’s are appreciated.
Thanks,
Shaun

I am sorry to hear this about you.
My symptoms were very similar to you. A sudden on set after a shingles vaccine. I believe no one really knows why this occurs. I personally think it is an unknown autoimmune system malfunction.
Mine faded away over a year”s time. Hopefully yours will too. I could not live with the symptoms on a continual constant basis.
We all need a research facility to take up our cause and research this.

Thank you! I was reading more last night and I read where an overdose of vitamin B6 can cause the feet symptoms I described and nerve damage. I eat approximately a 3lb turkey a day, 10-12 bananas and up to 15 strawberries (almost all of the fruit is in smoothies I make) and white rice. That’s it. All of those with the exception of the rice contain vitamin B6. I know I did a 24 hour urine test where that diet completely through off my numbers to where they were double the average and they made me retake the test but minus the turkeys and bananas and I dropped just below the average. My problem is I can’t eat many other things without having my skin feel gross or getting a stinging reaction. Wondering if I have overdosed the B6…..

I know exactly how you feel. But I believe I found the cause of my cholinergic urticaria. It was pretty simple, I wasn’t drinking enough water. I barely drank any water, I would just drink a lot of juice. So recently I started water therapy. I’m now drinking 8 cups of water a day to stay hydrated. Now I’m feeling much better. This was the cause of my hives and a few other people too. I don’t know if this is your cause but it could help.

Thank you! I am going to try it. Again I have never itched from my symptoms but I know for sure I don’t drink enough of anything, let alone water. How long did it take you before you noticed any changes? Thanks again for your time
