Hi, thanks so much for the info. It’s really helped me with mine since the doctor are still unsure of what to do.
You mentioned you were on a low histamine diet and this changed. Can you let us know how long this took effect ie a month, a year, etc?
Thanks,
Vanessa

Hello, Vanessa. I’m not sure if you’re asking me or someone else. However, it took me about 3-5 weeks on the diet. I have a video that answers all of these questions about my diet. Thanks!

Hi everyone…I’m glad to have found this forum…I have been suffering urticaria and on anti-histamine since the last 15-18 years…but the last couple of years the intake of anti histamine becomes more frequent sometimes alternate day at worst..I thought its due to my Asian diet that is full of fermentation, preservatives etc..but I began to realise that it’s not just about Asian diet but more than that…desperately I did thorough research and discovered about histamine intolerance and since then I am in my 9 weeks of elimination diet on food with high histamines….and I managed so far to keep my urticaria about 4-5 days at most after which I have to take my anti histamine as the itch becomes intolerable…so I intend to continue my elimination diet for as long as it takes until I can keep my anti histamine pill at bay for at least 2-4 weeks…
