A little personal question about physical intimacy

February 21, 2016 by Forum Member

Hey everyone.

I don’t think anyone has made an issue about it, so I’m gonna go first. I have had cholinergic urticaria for months, and the antihistamines aren’t working. Since the cholinergic urticaria started, I’m literally avoiding any physical intercourse because I’m afraid I might have a breakout.

So I just wanna ask, do any of you have any problem while doing it. I know how awkward this is, but many people wants to know I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one.

I have before and it was a problem. However with this latest occurrence, intercourse hasn’t caused any major problems. Go figure…..

It is best if you workout or shower earlier in the day to get your cU breakout out of the way if possible. Also, my best performance was at a time when I took Vistaril, a cholinesterase inhibitor. Better than viagra!! But that stuff is hard to deal with due to dry mouth and other side effects. Being full of histamine can be a problem, and sometimes i also did better when taking some of the normal nondrowsy antihistamines even if 1/4th the normal dose. Of course, getting to the root cause and avoiding it will resolve the problem the best way.

Yeah – I have that problem. Unlike others I don’t find there is any “getting my CU breakout out of the way” as it can happen 15 times a day or whoever I heat up. When it happens I just have to stop and cool off. Luckily I’m married so less embarrassment there.

I used to always have outbreaks whenever I “did” myself. I’m guessing it was in relation to getting blood pumping through the body and raising my body temperature. So you’re not alone on that.
