Can gym help for treatment of cholinergic urticaria?

March 9, 2016 by Forum Member

Firstly, English is not my main language. I’m really sorry if I made a mistake. Thank you

Hello, I saw this site from google. I have some question

I went doctor 6-7 days ago, and he told me I have CU. When I’m in stress, working hard or laugh too much that is making me itch. And doctor give me antihistamine pill and after that he says “it’s not serious issue.”

My question is, I want to go gym, but I don’t know what will happen in gym (while exercise, while running treadmill).

Can be gym helpful for this cholinergic urticaria? Or make me worse?

Do you guys going gym? And can you share experience with me?

Thank you again,

Carl

Hello, Carl. The gym could help you if you can sweat. However, it may hurt you if you have a severe case of hives and go into anaphylactic shock. It really depends on your own case of cholinergic urticaria. You could always read the articles or watch the videos I have on sweat therapy, discuss it with a doctor, obtain an epi-pen (just in case), and then try it (assuming your doctor approves). Just learn the risks.

However, many people do get relief from sweat therapy, whereas others do not.

      Hello Ben, me again.

Do you have still hives? I watched your “How I Cured CU” video, still cured?

Yes, I’m still cured. My hives can come back if I begin to eat allergy-prone foods. However, I stick with my diet/exercise/probiotics and other things, and it keeps them gone. Thanks!

No I’m not cured. But the weather has began to get warmer where I live & I’m beginning to sweat regularity again. The attacks are getting weaker and weaker each day so I’m wondering if this is a seasonal thing. If you want to know my story look on the question below this one titled “seeking help.”
