My 13-year-old daughter gets these symptoms of cholinergic urticaria, but if she doesn’t stop and cool off, it escalates to dizziness, nausea, lethargy, sometimes vomiting and eventually loss of consciousness.
Is it normal for these symptoms to become more severe?

Hi, April.
Yes, cholinergic urticaria symptoms can get worse or better over time. It isn’t uncommon for people with severe cases to experience the symptoms you mentioned above. In that case, I’d personally avoid pushing myself too hard, and I’d definitely discuss an Epi-Pen with a doctor.
I hope your daughter feels better soon.

Wow she must have it bad. I agree with Hivesguy….you need to need an epi-pen because she is almost going anaphylactic. I bet you are scared. I have a son and I would be scared to death if he started doing that. I hope you figure it out April.
