I started showing the cholinergic urticaria rash about 2 or 3 days after the onset of a common cold. The first few days the rash is quite red and hot, but never itchy.
I feel a bit feverish when the rash first appears. The rash usually appears on the inside of my arms at the elbows followed by my neck then the sides of my chest; it never appears below my waist.
It subsides in a few days and is not a problem until another cold is contracted. I live in South Carolina and being in high heat and humidity does not affect me. I have had this for +30 years.
That’s my story,
Doug

Doug,
Thanks for taking the time to share your story. That’s interesting that your hives seem to coincide with a cold. Sorry to hear you’ve suffered for 30+ years. I hope you can defeat it in time.
