I have had cholinergic urticaria everyday for twenty years. I have been on steroids, antidepressants and antihistamines to treat this terrible condition. I am just on the antihistamines now, and avoid extensive exercise, but try to walk as much as possible.
I have lived most of my adult life without people noticing, as I start my days off slow, drink warm (not hot) coffee in the morning, and leave for work with enough time for the morning breakout to go away before I reach work. I try to stay hydrated as much as possible.
This is a terrible condition. For those who say their year has been hell, try 20 years. I have learned to be relaxed in nature and not get stressed. I hope it’s not with me until my end. Good luck everyone.
