I’ve had cholinergic urticaria since I was very young, and my symptoms usually range from a strange splotchy-looking rash to itching, to slight swelling. But over the years it seems to be getting worse.
Sometimes now if I’m out in the heat for too long I’ll start to have trouble breathing or I’ll begin to feel light-headed or nauseous. It always seems to clear up once I’m out of the heat for a while.
Has anyone experienced cholinergic urticaria getting worse like this? My doctors refuse to talk about my cu with me and always dismiss it whenever I bring it up, so the internet is the only place I can really ask questions about it.

for me the triggers were increasing over time … first it used to be triggered only after showering , then after a while the sweating triggered it , then scratches triggered it , then changing clothes and temperature changing triggered it .. symptoms at the beginning was just a feeling of stinging needles all over my body, then red rash over my skin, then something like small freckles that fall off after a few minutes .. but that is it until now .. not sure if it will get worse or not , but it did changed over time (more triggers and symptoms ) .. I hope you get better

For me it also got worse. I went from having small hives once a month on average to almost every single day and the hives are becoming bigger and more widespread
