Cholinergic Uticaria and Low Sugar Diet?

August 11, 2016 by Forum Member

I have had hives since the summer of 2009, it has drove me crazy. I have been to doctor after doctor. Up to a month ago I have had no relief.

I heard I may be allergic to sugar! I thought it wa maybe yeast. So I went on a no sugar diet, and now trying an antifungal medicine. It’s crazy but one week with no sugar made a huge difference. No lie–no angioedema, nothing.

I highly suggest people try to reduce sugar.

Thanks,

It makes total sense. Fungal antigens in the skin. Sensistivity due to fungal overgrowth.
