I suffered from this for nearly 20 years and tried everything. My urticaria would usually start to act up when it started to get colder outside usually Oct-April. Last season my urticaria was the best it’s been in twenty years, and knock on wood, it’s pretty good so far this year.
Below is what I did that for whatever reason has helped me.
- Eliminate or greatly reduce dairy, eggs, spicy foods, fatty foods, and sugar.
- I take a Zrytec everyday and apply a quality lotion like Eucerin all over several times a day.
Finally, I dealt with a family issue that has caused me a lot of sadness, depression, and anger for many years. I go to counseling regularly. I also exercise, do yoga, and sometimes go to Accupunture.
Hope this helps.

I agree, cutting down on dairy has worked wonders for my cholinergic urticaria. I noticed that when I have stomach issues, my CU is much worse.
