HELP, PLEASE…..
I have noticed redness, swelling, and itching on my fingers, toes, hands, and feet, not to mention other areas of my body.
Are there others that experience this? What have you done to relieve these symptoms?
Thank you,
Sherry

Sherry,
Sorry to hear about your hives symptoms. If this does not subside soon, I’d definitely make an appointment with a doctor (allergist or dermatologist). As far as to what’s causing this, it could be anything from unknown food allergies in your diet, contact with some allergens, or anything else. Antihistamines (Benadryl, Zyrtec, Allegra) may temporarily help with the itching until you can find out more information (always check with your doctor before taking meds, especially if you are pregnant).
I hope you get better soon! Let us know if you find out the cause.

Hi Sherry
Thank you for sharing your horrid hives story. I personally use Allegra as it is the only thing that will touch it. My dr has recently found CVID immunodeficiency and says that my antibodies are being attacked by histamines causing the huge breakouts. So using Allegra I take a full tablet, and under dr supervision I also take a half of one at night RIGHT before bed as this causes extreme drowsiness for me. Hope this helps! Best of luck.

When I was young I used to get intense itching on the top of my hands, feet and back when I went on holiday. I think it was a result of some combination of heat, sun, salt water and chlorine from swimming pools. I couldn’t find any effective treatment however it always went away when I returned to England.
