I have had cholinergic urticaria for over 5 years now, and every year isn’t any better than the last. I have searched for a cure for 2 years, and people only respond to Sweat therapy and Antihistamines (Zyrtec and Ketotifen).
The problem is I can’t sweat at all in the winter, and I can’t afford to buy a portable sauna. There isn’t any gym that offers one near me. I try cardio and stretching and muscle exercises, but I always get tired before even sweating one drop.

Welcome to our world. I think if they figure out why we don’t sweat it would probably cure us. I try to cut down on salt intake and if it works try to elininate salt. If that helps let us all know. Myoutbreaks are less and I don’t have the large bloches anymore. After hot showers I use a product named SARNA. I put it all over my body and it stops the sharp itching pain after showers and settles it down. I still wake up at least 2 times a night with an itching fit but I re apply SARNA and it stings at first but relieve itch and back to sleep again.

Can you describe for me what kind of product SARNA is so i can find a substitute for it in my country.About the salt intake i love sweets and candy very much so i can go on a day or two without eating any salt and still get terrible attacks

You are not alone, my poor kids don’t understand, I call it the itchy angries so they know when Daddy needs a minute to collect himself and focus on breathing. Not a drop of sweat during the winter months, or any days with dramatic temperature changes.
