Seriously, this is miserable.
For the last 2 years I’ve been dealing with a severe case of this. It started when I moved to the middle east for a few months and continued into my move to Texas from Colorado. Its REALLY BAD. I walk from my work center to my car and itch. I take a shower and my head and between my breasts itch. God forbid I workout because I get thousands of welts all over my body.
I cried this morning because I was so frustrated. Is there really no cure? Nothing that can be done? I’m in the Air Force and have seen a doc who started me on an antihistamine and told me to come back in a month and see how it did. I refuse to go back and see her because they will try to medically separate me. I can only prolong it so long though. Advice? Tips?

Nicolette,
So sorry to hear your struggles with this. It can be hard, but you’re not alone. We’ve all been there too. There is no cure, per say, but there are many ways to manage this and make it better and/or even eliminate it entirely. Diet worked best for me, and when I avoid food allergies my symptoms go away completely. However, other people use antihistamine combinations, exercise/sweat therapy, and so forth.
A lot of useful information is on this site, and I’ve written a book which summarizes all of the information so that you can read it all in a more organized way.
I hope that helps, and I certainly hope you can get your hives under control soon. There is hope, and you can overcome this. Just be patient and don’t give up.

The antihistamine didnt do anything for me, so I stopped it. Exercise is what brings it on the most. What is sweat therapy? I did read on here that someone sat in a sauna for an hour every morning. I cant do that, no time for that! As far as foods, I have heard everything that goes on in our body has to do with what we eat. ive thought about going totally vegan thinking that may work, btu without total support at home its really hard.
