My experience: At first I thought that the hives were part of my eczema, but it turned out to be cholinergic urticaria. I was devastated when I found out because I’m on my school’s dance team and finally found something that I like to do, and I did not want to give it up.
I don’t think I have severe flare ups, but enough to make them noticeable. I’m a little worried about costume changes because we have a show at the end of the month, but I’m starting to accept my hives and learn how to live with them.
I wanted to thank you for making this website and videos. They remind me I’m not alone.
Thanks,
-B

Thanks so much for sharing your experience (and for your kind words), B. You’re definitely not alone in your struggles. That’s awesome that you’ve found a passion for dancing. I couldn’t dance my way out of a wet paper bag, but I admire people who can dance well. I’d definitely stick with it, even if your hives give you trouble here and there. Stay positive, and I hope you do well during the show coming up!

That’s the right attitude B! I admire you for sticking with your goals and not giving up on exercise and strenuous activity which are essential to good physical and mental health. Welcome to the club, and thanks for sharing. Everything is going to be all right for you!
P.S. I strayed last week on diet and ate wheat and some fish. Very hivish for a couple of days, but much better last two days since back on the straight and narrow. You will find your cause. Hang in there.
