My Toes Cramp A Lot
One thing I have noticed is that my toes seem to cramp quite a lot. They don’t do it all the time, but sometimes (usually at night when I am about to go to sleep), they will suddenly cramp up. I hate it. It has happened the past couple of nights.
Causes of Toe Cramps
I tried to look up online what could cause it. Some articles suggested it could be a vitamin deficiency (calcium, magnesium, potassium, etc.). I don’t know what causes it, but it is annoying. It isn’t a big deal though. It only does it for a few minutes, and I have to literally stand up to correct them and make them stop, lol.
UPDATE: My toes still cramp sometimes, but not nearly as much as they used to. I now take a multi-vitamin (Centrum), and I also take a daily calcium supplement (since I can’t eat dairy/milk), and lastly I take vitamin D3 sometimes.
If your toes are cramping, then you may want to take a hard look at your diet. Look up the daily recommended amounts for calcium, magnesium, etc. and see if you are getting the recommended amounts in the foods you eat daily.
If not, it would be a good idea to talk to a doctor about taking some vitamin supplements to help restore your levels of vitamins to the proper amount.
Spring is Here, Summer is on its way!
Finally Spring is here! YES! I can’t wait to get outdoors this year and enjoy the warm weather, and hopefully sweat. I have recently been getting out in the sun a little more. I will also try to get out for about an hour or so today if possible. I think it is supposed to get around 63 degrees or so today.
I really hope & pray that getting outdoors will cause me to sweat again, and hopefully cure the cholinergic urticaria (even if only for the summer months). At least I should have my answer by late June or early July. If this sun stuff isn’t the answer, then it looks like we are back to square one.
I just want my normal life back. I don’t want to keep suffering with this stinging my whole life every time I get hot. I am tired of having to constantly deal with this. It is so annoying.
