What Can I Do About My Cholinergic Urticaria?

July 1, 2014 by Hivesguy

Hello,

I was diagnosed with Cholinergic Urticaria about 2 years ago. I have tried antihistamines and topical creams/lotions, but nothing has improved.

I would really appreciate any other guidance as to what to try to help fix this condition for it occurs as soon as I get a shower, do any sort of physical activity, or even swim in a pool. Difficult to live my life for all of things I love to do end with torture.

I am willing to take part in clinical trials if possible, as well as answer any questions you may have.

Thank you.

–Zack

Sweat therapy and changing diet are major things, changing diet has linked to completely getting rid of urticaria but with sweat therapy you need to continue that every day to keep it away, I use sweat therapy and it work very well no itching at all but I haven’t head of any medical trials a lot of gps and doctors barely know anything about this

I actually got to the point where I don’t want to do anything or go anywhere because of CU. I just saw a doctor 2 times and I have an upcoming appointment with an allergist and I HOPE that he can help me. btw if you take a cold shower it shouldn’t occur. I hope we all get well soon.
