Where Does Cholinergic Urticaria Happen on Your Body?
Post by: mik on March 28, 2009, 03:17:29 PM
Hi all,
Now I don’t think I’ve seen this tpye of entry on this forum, I am just wondering is this because people are too shy to ask.
However, I get the effects of Cholinergic Urticaria on my bum cheeks. It was never like this when I first started getting Cholinergic Urticaria – it was just on my hands. Then it moved to my arms. Then the chest. Then the legs. And finally, the bum. I don’t get it on my head – although this is hard to see considering I have a full head of hair – and also on my face, feet and, being honest, and mature, my penis.
I would hope, others can maybe share their views on this matter?
THere may be a trend. Who know’s!?
Thank you

Interesting. I never break out on my bum, face, or thighs. Everything else. It always starts with my feet or wrist, then legs/arms, stomach & back.

Ocassionally a little tingle on my rear, but no more than anywhere else.
I feel the full force of Cholinergic Urticaria symptoms on my scalp/back/chest.

Usually, the most severe attacks are on my face, neck, scalp, chest, back, and arms. It almost never bothers my lower section at all.
The only exception is if I just have an absolute MASSIVE attack. Then, sometimes it is so strong that it radiates down my legs. But that is very rare, and only happens during extreme attacks of Cholinergic Urticaria.

Pretty much what I was going to say.

Haha at school when im taking a piss at the urinals my bum starts to feel prickly and yeah my bum does get an attack sometimes too. I now only get the visisble hives when I workout and occasionally I wake up during the night usually after a nightmare with a really bad attack and I’ll have hives on my hands and forearms. I also usually only get itchy on my wrists and hands and my feet usually the ankle. I dont get it on my back and neck like I used to, maybe because its now much hotter…

Yeah it hurts when i pee! haha. i remember 1 or 2 isolated outbreaks that dissappeared years before it became a problem. in 10th(virgin still barely so prolly not sex related) grade i walked into class and my face felt like it was getting hotter and hotter and was being stabed then it stoped and never happened only randomly a few times over the the years when i would get hot then dissappear.. i also noticed that for maybe a year or 2 prior to Cholinergic Urticaria whenever i had sex after sex my ankles would itch intensly! like ouch! idk if that was Cholinergic Urticaria but i think it was. also when i layeddown on my bed with a foam like thingy my ankles would also often itch the same. idk if i was allergic to something on it

Hey! I was wondering where you guys feel the itchy, prickly feeling the most on your body. For me its usually on my wrists and on the backside of my hand, also around my ankle area and top of my foot, if the attack is mild. I’ve also realised that i’ve become extremely sensitive to differen’t materials.
Also I was wondering if anyone knows a workout they would make me sweat buckets, since jogging outside when its hot isn’t working for me.
Thanks for the help!

Jogging helps me sweat some. I itch most my face.scalp.back.chest.wrists.legs.ankles.just about everywhere. but since excercising my hives have rarely bothered me. only small stabbing on my back. besides that i kinda forgot about them and dont care about them anymore. when i excercise im only able to sweat alittle in some places but ive noticed with more excercise the more and more sweat i see:)

Mostly on my upper torso, although if it persists it usually radiates down to my legs.
Specifically, my face (forehead especially), neck, upper chest, arms, and back are the worst.

There are two types of experiences I get from having hives.
1. Small attack -colored red/pink hives
They usually only form on my arms, chest, and neck…maybe stomach or small area of my thigh area.
I sweat very little.
Tingly/itchy sensation.
Breathing is okay.
Goes away within an hour
It feels good to cool off by removing clothing.
I do not scratch, I try to relax.
I do not think about it after.
No rash at all
2. Large attack -colored red/pink hives that are raised and include white raised bumps as well
Everywhere! They even on my face. Which sucks because they look like flat pink zits. >:(
I sweat a bit more.
Unbearable itch and needle like sensation.
Asthma like symptoms.
Duration lasts more than an hour
I feel better by washing off in the shower with warm water.
I end up scratching myself and then fall asleep from exhaustion.
I think “Woah, this is ridiculous.”
Rash may stay for a few days (eczema) Bumps…sometimes little baby fluid blisters.
There are probably more specifics. I just am a bit sleepy.
WHAT DO YOU EXPERIENCE?

Minor attacks for me are just the stabbing/burning/itching sensation, which usually isn’t severe as long as I am able to cool off quickly. Severe attacks consist of massive amounts of small pinpoint hives all over my body, with extreme itching/stinging/burning. It persists until it either stops or I cool down. It clears up just a few minutes later.

Title: Hot, bright red knees, stretching down the calves sometimes?

Hello,
Here is something which I get, which I’m not sure if I can relate to Cholinergic Urticaria or anything infact…
When I’m in the bath room, when I have no trousers on (pants, for you Americans) and I’m just sitting there with boxers or shorts on, brushing my teeth or just washing my face, sometimes randomly for some reason I am not sure about my knees and calves go a very bright red, covering my whole knee, and as it furthers down my calves it becomes more blotchy, and it’s got a weird pattern to it.
It feels incredibly warm, and this happens when I’ve been standing for a good 15 minutes or so in the bath room.
It is not painful, and I do not feel any kind of symptoms such as itching, really except for the red blotching from Cholinergic Urticaria.
The reason for me posting this, is does anyone experience this as well? or am I alone on this one. If you want and I get around to it, I will take a picture of it and upload it on the forums.
Thanks
Ryan
